Before Treatment:

Please arrive with a fresh, clean face and free of eye makeup - your skin will be thoroughly cleansed, but this will ensure that all dirt and oils are thoroughly removed and more time will be spent performing the benefits of the facial

Hold off on any exfoliating treatments life scrubs or brushes and chemicals like retinol, AHA, BHA, or astringents for 3-5 days prior
After Treatment:

Avoiding sun exposure and wearing sunscreen (SPF 30+) — important in the days immediately following your treatment

Avoid Retinols and exfoliants for the first 24 hours after treatment
-
Avoid the use of saunas or steam rooms for the first 24hrs
-
Be sure to wear sunscreen (SPF 30+) and avoid direct sunlight
-
If any nicks or scabs occur, use vaseline to accelerate the healing process
-
Redness can be reduced using skincare containing aloe vera, arnica, chamomile, niacinamide, and/or ceramides

DO NOT cleanse skin for 12 hours after the peel

DO NOT put face directly under hot water/shower

DO NOT use Jacuzzis, steam rooms, or saunas

DO NOT participate in activities that would cause excessive heat or sweating

DO NOT use any scrubs or mechanical forms or exfoliation
-
No scrubs, retinoic acids (tretinoin, Retin-A, retinol), AHA's, BHA's, or astringents until the skin has fully healed
-
DO NOT PEEL OR PICK AT THE SKIN - this can lead to hyperpigmentation or scarring
-
Avoid direct sunlight - Apply SPF 30+ with reapplication every 2 hours. Wear a hat or protective gear to avoid direct sunlight
-
DO moisturize often -- Vaseline or Aquaphor is a great product to use during the peeling process
CHEMICAL PEEL:
After Treatment:
The great thing about a Lash Lift is that it is a very low maintenance procedure however, there is a little extra care required over the first 24-48hrs.

Be gentle with your lashes - no rubbing​

Sleep on your back for the first 24hrs - sleeping on your side could kink the lashes as it settles post treatment
-
Do not wet lashes for 24-48hrs after your treatment (this includes steam, sauna, shower, swimming, serums, makeup, mascara, etc)
-
Do not use harsh products on your eyes/lashes for 48hrs
-
Avoid waterproof mascara -- they will weaken the lift over time
-
Avoid using oil-free makeup remover
-
Avoid using eyelash curlers
KERATIN LASH LIFT:
Before Treatment:
-
I recommend showering the morning or, or night before as you will need to avoid getting your lashes wet for 24hrs.

Discontinue the use of any lash serums a week prior to your treatment
-
Arrive at your appointment free of any eye makeup or mascara
-
DO NOT WEAR CONTACTS to your treatment - application after treatment is OK
Before Treatment:

Get a good night's rest - This will help ease discomfort as well as hydrate and prep the follicle for effective removal
-
Avoid caffeine and drink plenty of water to stay hydrated to make the treatment more effective
-
Avoid waxing, threading, or plucking the areas to be treated - These will disrupt your follicle cycles causing less effective and prolonged treatments. Cutting/trimming is best, but shaving is okay as long as you let it grow out enough to be able to grab it for removal during your next treatment
-
If you need to use a prescription or over-the-counter numbing cream, be sure to clean the area before applying it, then apply it 30-60 minutes prior to arriving, covering it in plastic wrap so that it doesn’t evaporate.

Please be freshly showered or cleaned face, and free from lotions or perfumes
-
Please wear clothing that will not get in the way of the treatment area and remove any lotions or makeup prior to coming
After Treatment:
For the next 24 hours:
-
AVOID touching the treated area
-
AVOID direct sunlight
-
AVOID hot baths, showers, jacuzzi, steam room or saunas
-
AVOID anything which may irritate the skin (physical or chemical exfoliations such as acids or retinols

While you heal:
-
Wash the treated area with mild soap and water and pat dry to prevent infection and irritation
-
Feel free to apply an antiseptic product or an icepack to cool the skin, avoiding alcohol or oil-based products
-
Do not shave, apply makeup or deodorant to the treated area for 24-48 hours or until healed
-
After the redness and swelling subsides, you may moisturize the area and resume any exfoliation routines as normal
-
If scabs form, do not forcefully pick them off - doing so may result in pitting or scarring. Instead, apply a layer of vaseline or Aquaphor to moisten the scab, allowing it to fall off faster

For FUTURE Electrolysis Treatments:

If you haven’t scheduled your next appointment, be sure to book as soon as you see new hair emerging so we can treat it when the follicle is at its weakest stage
